How do I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe by logging into your Irish Opinions account and clicking the
'Unsubscribe' link on the left hand side of the screen. Alternatively you can

Please allow three working days for your unsubscribe request to be fully
processed. Should you still be receiving email from us after this time, please
contact our support team at enquiries@irishopinions.com
so that they can unsubscribe you manually.
Can I register more than once?
As stated in our terms and conditions, we do not allow people to have more than
one account with Irish Opinions. We are interested in the opinions of
individuals and the value of the data gathered from surveys would be seriously
compromised if people filled out the same survey for us more than once.
Irish Opinions considers the creation of multiple accounts to be fraudulent
behavior and will terminate the accounts of members with more than one account.
If you think you may have created multiple accounts by accident, please contact
enquiries@irishopinions.com so that they may help you further.
How will Irish Opinions contact me?
You will be contacted by Irish Opinions as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Generally Irish Opinions will contact you by email. Sometimes however, we may
contact you by SMS, by calling you or by sending a postal questionnaire to your
home address.
All emails and letters will always be clearly identifiable as coming from Irish
Opinions. All text messages will clearly state 'VOP Research' and we will
always clearly state up front that someone is calling on behalf of Irish
Opinions.
Is there a minimum period of membership?
No, you can unsubscribe at any point in time by emailing
mailun@irishopinions.com or by logging into your account and clicking
on the 'Unsubscribe' link on the left hand side of the screen.
Do I have to live in the Republic of Ireland to be a member?
Yes, as stated in our terms and conditions you have to be a resident of the Republic
of Ireland to be a member of Irish Opions. The surveys we conduct are directed
specifically at residents of the Republic of Ireland.
Irish Opinions considers the creation of accounts by non Republic of Ireland
residents to www.irishopinions.com to
be fraudulent behavior and will terminate the accounts of members who are not
from the Republic of Ireland.
If you think you may have created an account in the Republic of Ireland by
accident or would like to know whether we have an affiliate in your country of
residence, please contact our support team at
enquiries@irishopinions.com so that they may help you further.
How old do I have to be to be a member?
As stated in our terms and conditions, due to the rules and regulations
surrounding the ways in which market research should be conducted, we are not
able to offer our service to people under the age of 16.
Irish Opinions considers the creation of accounts by under 16 year olds to be
fraudulent behavior and will terminate the accounts of members who are not of
the required age.
What are Hot Topics?
Hot Topics are short questionnaires sent via email. Sometimes we need to contact
you for a little bit more information to see if you are suitable for an
upcoming project. Because these 'Hot Topics' usually consist of only a couple
of questions that take just a few minutes to answer. We cannot reward you for
them, but participating in them will increase your chances of being invites to
future surveys.
How do I get invited to take part in surveys?
Once you have become a member of Irish Opinions, you will immediately become
eligible to be invited to take part in surveys.
Generally, when one of our clients wants to learn more about the views and
opinions of someone who, for example lives where you do, you will be put
forward to be invited to their survey.
Please check our terms and conditions to learn more about the obligations Irish
Opinions has in respect to the survey invitations we send to our members.
I was in the middle of the survey when I was sent straight to
the Irish Opinions home page. What happened?
In these cases the required amount of completed survey forms that our client
required has probably been fulfilled and no further responses were needed.
Please note that the process to determine whether enough responses have been
gathered is fully automated to prevent people from completing surveys for which
their information is no longer needed.
Rest assured that any information you provided in these cases will not be passed
on to the client or any other third parties.
Why am I never invited to take part in surveys?
There are a number of possible reasons why you haven't received invites to
surveys.
Your survey invitations might be transferred straight into your junkmail or SPAM
folder. Please check these folders and add Irish Opinions to your safelist.
It is also possible that the questionnaires on your account have not been filled
out to 100%. This means that certain profile information, that is essential to
determine whether you might qualify for a specific survey, is not available and
you are less likely to be invited to participate in research.
If the questionnaires in your account are filled out to 100% and you are still
not selected, please keep in mind that we work with a variety of clients across
a wide range of industries and we are sure that you will be invited to
participate in surveys soon.
I have filled in all the surveys on my account to 100%. Why
haven't I got any credit in my account yet?
The so called 'Survey Opportunities' on your account should not be mistaken for
surveys and are not rewarded. These questionnaires are designed to get to know
you better so we can direct the appropriate survey invitations to you.
Where are the surveys? I can't see them when I log in.
At Irish Opinions we do not post surveys in your account. When we receive a
project for which we think you might qualify, we will send an invitation to
participate in the survey via email which links directly to the survey.
I ordered my voucher some time ago, but it still hasn't
arrived yet. Where is it?
Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of physical vouchers (i.e. Tesco, Boots
and HMV). If you have not received the voucher after this time, please contact
our support team at enquires@irishopinions.com
and we will investigate whether a replacement needs to be sent out.
Amazon vouchers are sent out via email. If you have not received this email
please check your junkmail of SPAM folder. Alternatively, log into your account
and go to your 'Reward History'. You can find your Amazon.co.uk voucher code
behind your voucher order, in the 'Details' section.
How do I order my voucher?
Once your account balance has reached €10 a new link, called 'Claim your
reward here' will appear on your account. When you click the link you will be
prompted to make your choice of voucher and place your order. Please allow 28
days for delivery.
Will I always be rewarded for taking part in surveys?
You will be rewarded for every survey you fully complete through a credit to
your Irish Opinions account.
This is how the Irish Opinions reward system works:
-
Fully complete the surveys we invite you to and we will reward you with the
amount stated in the email invitation, which will be credited to your Irish
Opinions account within 28 days of completing the survey.
-
'Hot Topics' questions are used to identify the most suitable surveys tailored
to your interests. We can't pay for Hot Topics questions; however by completing
these you increase your chance of receiving more surveys.
The only case in which we don't reward members is where we identify that someone
is not being honest in their approach to the research, for example by providing
meaningless answers or trying to do multiple completions of the same survey.
This only occurs very occasionally and is used as a means to stop one or two
dishonest people from spoiling the opportunities for everyone else.
I've done a lot of surveys, why don't I have any credit in my
account?
There are a number of possible reasons why you haven't got any credit in your
account yet.
First and foremost, it can take up to 28 days for surveys to be rewarded. So if
you have taken surveys in the past 28 days, it's entirely possible that you
haven't been rewarded yet because we need to close the entire project before we
can reward our members for their participation in the survey. So please be a
bit more patient and if you still haven't received your reward after 28 days
get in touch with our support team at the email address below.
Secondly, you might have only participated in so called Hot Topics. These are
short ten to fifteen question email questionnaires which are used to determine
whether you fit the profile for certain future surveys. We cannot reward
participation for Hot Topics because we aren't paid for them ourselves, but
responding to Hot Topics will help increase your changes to be invited for
future research.
Finally, it's possible that you have participated in surveys but did not fully
complete them. Please note that you will only be rewarded for surveys that you
completed till the very end. If you received a message stating that you did not
qualify for a survey or that the desired number of respondents had been
reached, you did not successfully complete the survey and will not be rewarded
for it.
If you still believe that you have not been rewarded for surveys that you
successfully completed, please email our support team at
enquiries@irishopinions.com and let us know which of your rewards are
still outstanding by mentioning the topic of the survey and the day you
participated in it.
I have pending credit in my account, when is it going to be
added to my credit?
Rewards for fully completed surveys will be held in 'pending' status until the
entire project has been closed from both our and our client's side. Depending
on the size and complexity of the project, it can take up to four weeks for
projects to be fully closed. Ideally however, your reward should disappear from
'Pending Credit' and be added to your credit within 28 days.
I had pending credit in my account, but now it's gone. Where
is it?
Sometimes you will see a 'Pending Credit' in your account for surveys for which
your response has been received but not yet confirmed.
When your account balance is updated, survey responses are checked against our
database. If you qualified and completed the survey, your balance will be
credited with the reward specified for that particular survey.
Because we do not reward in cases where you were stopped from completing the
survey because the quota was full or because you did not fit the profile for a
particular survey, the pending credit will not be transferred to your account
balance.
I accidentally deleted the email with my Amazon voucher code.
How can I get a new one?
Don't worry. You can find your Amazon.co.uk voucher code by logging into your
account and going to your 'Reward History'. You can find the code under
'Details' in your order history.
I just ordered a voucher, but in the email confirmation it
says it's going to be delivered to the wrong address. What do I do now?
Don't worry. If you've just placed your order it hasn't been passed on to our
mailing company yet. Please log into your account and update your address by
clicking on 'Update Account Information'.
If you ordered the voucher a few days ago please alert our support team via
enquiries@irishopinions.com so that they may assist you further.
I just ordered an Amazon voucher, but it was £7.50 not
€10.
Amazon.co.uk only offers vouchers in British Pounds, which is why you were sent
a voucher in this denomination. Please note that we regularly check exchange
rates to ensure that the Amazon.co.uk voucher you receive from us reflects the
current exchange rate.
